How to use

Where is the best place to put my fragrance?
Ideally you want your fragrance to be in a central part of your house, like a hallway so that as people walk in and out they waft the fragrance with them and you will find in time that you can even smell it upstairs, depending on the size of your house. If you have several fragrances, then pick the room that suits the fragrance best.

Avoid placing the fragrance in direct sunlight or by radiators as this will affect the evaporation.

Not only for use in the home but also in your office, boardroom, meeting rooms, client toilets and reception areas.

How often should I turn the reeds?
This is largely down to personal preference and position. Put all the supplied reeds in the bottle for approx. 30 minutes to an hour and then turn them all over the first time. After this we recommend you turn one or more sticks a day or every other day depending on how strong you want the fragrance.

How long will they last?
As a rule they should last up to 3 months for a 250ml bottle and 6-7 weeks for a 100ml bottle. The length of time a fragrance lasts depends on its environment; central heating and direct sun light can speed up evaporation. Some of the heavier fragrances such as Vanilla and Mandarin, Terra and Fuoco and even Wild Fig have been reported to last as long as 6 months plus!

What happens if I spill my fragrance?
If it is on a painted or polished surface you need to wipe it off as quickly as possible – the fragrance is made up from Essential Oils, Water and Alcohol, if left it will mark your furniture. If you get it on your skin or clothes it should be fine  and you will smell very fragrant for a while!

All Bottles

Do not light the reeds as the fragrance is flammable. They are in the fragrance to diffuse it and must never be lit.

Can I re-use my reeds?
You can if you are buying another bottle of the same fragrance. Some customers substitute a few of the old reeds with new ones as they will be full of the fragrance even if they have dried out. You will always get a new set of reeds when you buy a new bottle

What can I do with my reeds after they have dried out?
When the fragrance has totally evaporated the reeds will eventually dry out, however they are so impregnated with the scent that they can be used in your drawers, airing cupboards, linen baskets and even in the car! They will keep the fragrance for months to come.

Why do some of the fragrances get darker and cloudy with time?
The fragrances may collect particles of dust from the atmosphere which can cause discoloration however, it does not affect the quality of the fragrance.
